Working with Special Made, I had the opportunity to contribute to the design and production of a custom promotional bucket created for Buffalo Wild Wings. The project required balancing strong visual branding with practical manufacturing requirements to create a product that would perform both as functional packaging and as an eye-catching in-store promotional piece.
The bucket was designed to reinforce the Buffalo Wild Wings brand while supporting limited-time promotions and enhancing the customer experience. Every aspect of the artwork had to account for print production, material specifications, die lines, color consistency, and the unique challenges of decorating a three-dimensional product.
Projects like this demanded close collaboration between designers, production specialists, and the client to ensure the finished product matched brand standards while remaining efficient to manufacture at scale.
This project reinforced the importance of designing beyond the computer screen—considering how graphics wrap around physical objects, how colors reproduce on various materials, and how a product ultimately functions in a retail environment.
